ASES: An Educational App for Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons

ASES (American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons) is an educational app designed for Orthopaedic surgeons specializing in surgery of the shoulder and elbow. Developed by AMERICAN SHOULDER ELBOW SURGEONS, this app provides a platform for leading national and international surgeons to connect, collaborate, and stay updated with the latest advancements in their field. With a membership consisting of 853 invitation-only members, ASES serves as a forum for discussing new ideas, presenting scientific material, and fostering continuing medical education.

The ASES app offers two main meetings annually: The Open Meeting and the Annual Meeting. The Open Meeting, held during the AAOS Annual Meeting on Specialty Day, is open to both members and non-members. It provides an opportunity for a wider audience to engage with the society. The Annual Meeting, on the other hand, is exclusively for ASES members. These meetings serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, standardizing nomenclature, and organizing scientific programs.
